Archaeological Investigations

  • Archaeological surveys of areas ranging from 1 to 10,000 acres in size
  • Completion of FCC Form 620 and Form 621 (Section 106 review for cellular towers)
  • Testing and evaluation of archaeological sites
  • Native American consultation
  • Archaeological monitoring during construction
  • Desktop review for previously recorded sites, structures, or cemeteries; and to determine whether the project area has already been surveyed
  • Data recovery projects and mitigation of adverse effects to significant archaeological sites

All projects are managed by Registered Professional Archaeologists. Florida History, LLC, has archaeologists on staff with 40-Hour HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard) and wetland delineation training for projects in environmentally sensitive areas.

All work is completed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
